Angela Jordison is an American poker pro who has been playing for 17 years.  Angela initially played mostly cash part time while balancing a family and owning and running her businesses.  She has worked in the financial and investment sector, and owned many successful small businesses.  In the last 10 years she transitioned to playing poker full time.

 

Tournaments are a new passion for Angela, she first sought out tournament coaching in 2018 then exploded onto the scene in 2021 and 2022 with more than 40 live cashes in the last 18 months including a dozen deep runs and prestigious final tables resulting in live tournament earnings of $930,000.   

 

Angela spent about 3 months of 2022 holding the top spot for GPI Ladies Player of the Year, she spent 4 months in the top 10 of the GPI Mid Majors Player of the Year including 1 week at the top.  This was the first time a female player had ever held the #1 spot in an open category.  Angela finished out 2022 #2 for GPI ladies POY, #2 for GPI Mid Majors POY (#1 Female) and #1 for CardPlayer Magazine’s  Female POY.

 

In addition to her cash and tournament prowess, Angela is well known for her approachability and friendly energy, earning her new friends at every table she plays.

In 2016 Tom launched Lights Camera Action Poker. LCAPoker is Australia's first poker training, education and film studio. With over a decade of poker industry experience, Tom can teach anyone not just how to play but how to play better poker. 

Prior to LCAPoker, Tom was one of the first operators/tournament directors to run league poker in Queensland. This experience led to Tom working for the largest poker company in the world, PokerStars. He began working for PokerStars as a Poker Specialist. Tom became the Australian Training Co-ordinator for PokerStars in 2009 and has trained hundreds of people in the intricacies of the game. He was a lead designer in the poker training program used for all employees at PokerStars.  

Currently LCAPoker is the live stream partner for Australia’s finest poker room, The Poker Palace and Tom has been the consultant and film partner for The Australian Poker League and The World Poker Tour League. He has filmed and broadcast 100’s of hours of poker ranging from small private tournaments through to many of Australia’s major poker events. Through LCAPoker training classes, Tom has personally coached and guided players into hundreds of thousands of dollars in winnings.  He is currently studying a Masters Degree in Communication, Behaviour and Credibility. This study includes psychology, forensic linguistics, behaviour analysis and criminology.

Janet is a trained and registered teacher with 30+ years of teaching experience. Janet has been playing poker casually for over 20 years.  Poker became a series option in 2021 and Janet started studying and learning from coaches to go onto some great success in both local and international tournaments and regularly plays cash games.

JDub Poker was formed in 2021 when Janet was looking for live poker coaching in Australia and discovered that there was no coaching scene available.  Hence she opened the company and started with classes, master classes and bootcamps so she could attend and get coaching herself.

​

This lead to a significant increase in success including winning the MGM Grand Ladies event in Las Vegas in 2022 as well as cashing in two WSOP events and the MGM Tournament of Champions.
