UP Your Play, Play to Win
Do you want to hone your skills before the APL PT, WPT Prime, APT, WSOP or even your local Championships. For 2 days in March 2024 (Brisbane) leading up to the big poker series we will hold a bootcamp for players who want that edge on the others.
Coaches will discuss advanced level stages of the tournaments, pre and post-flop play, body language and tells, mindset and how strategy and play varies throughout each stage. Look at grinding the short stack and how to build the stamina to ‘grind it out’. How do you survive the big fields with high level of variance in players.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions of coaches who have been through it all and who have made it to those elusive final tables. Maddocks Mindset Poker coach, Mentor, certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Intuitive Coach Mike Maddocks.
Book early for these bootcamps and with very limited places they will fill up quickly.
Participants will also have the opportunity to play a game on the first evening to put their skills into practice with the coaches to do hand analysis with them in a follow up session.

Sample schedule of what will we be doing?
Day 1
Day 2
9am arrive for the first day of coaching and training.
Coaching sessions including Pre and Post flop Poker Skills from experts in the field.
From about 6pm we will go to an optional game with the option of feedback by the coaches in a follow up session.
10am arrival
Day 2 starts with feedback on the previous nights game with the coaches to chat about the game strategies and any other burning questions you may have.
Followed by more sessions building on your poker learning including mindset, resilience and how to grind through WSOP to the winners podium. Participants will have the opportunity to ask any burning questions regarding poker or coaching you want to ask.

Janet is a trained and registered teacher with 30+ years of teaching experience. Janet has been playing poker for over 20 years with great success in both local and international tournaments and regularly plays cash games.
Most recently winning the 2022 MGM Grand Ladies International Poker Series event and cashing in 3 WSOP events in Las Vegas this year.
Teaching people who have never played before the “Learn to Play” classes is a passion for Janet, and you will discover the easy and exciting way to learn poker. She is a patient and fun teacher who will give you the confidence to play in any game.
Janet's success has increased significantly over the past 12 months including winning the 1st place trophy at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the Ladies International Poker Series and 4 cashes during the WSOP. This was possible with the guidance and support of her coaches, which is why she is thrilled to bring them to others in bootcamps and masterclasses.
